The Wilson Area Habitat ReStore sells gently used furniture, household items, and building supplies. All profits support Habitat’s mission of building affordable houses in partnership with Wilson County families.

We post special items on our Facebook page.  Check it out regularly to find out about special items, sales and more!

Donations:

We appreciate donations. You may drop off items any time during store hours, Tuesday through Friday from 10:00-5:00 or Saturday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

You may call (252) 234-0009 to schedule a pickup for large donations. We rely on volunteers in addition to our staff for pickups, so please allow at least 1-2 weeks to schedule a time for us to come.

Pick-up requirements:

Our truck is 26 feet. In order to maximize our resources, we ask the following:

  • You must have at least two large, qualifying items.
  • Items must be outside or in a garage. Due to covid-19 restrictions, our employees are not allowed to go inside homes.
  • Items must be located in Wilson County

Please note:  Donation pickups are scheduled as quickly as possible but may take up to two weeks.  Cancellations may be made due to weather, staffing or other issues.

We Do Not Accept:

  • Anything broken, stained, torn and/or damaged
  • Used flooring and tile – we can accept used carpet if properly cleaned
  • Mattresses/Box Springs
  • Mirrors or Glass without frames
  • Chemicals or used paint
  • Pianos/Organs
  • Used shower doors
  • Stained or Chipped toilets/bathtubs (must be cleaned and approved)
  • Box-style TVs, computer monitors or printers
  • Wooden ladders
  • Cribs, cradles, bassinets, playpens, highchairs or strollers
  • Gas appliances
  • Dishwashers
  • Wooden valances
  • Recalled Items
  • Items containing lead paint or asbestos

We maintain the right to refuse items if they are not appropriate for resale or pose a potential safety hazard to our staff or customers or are potentially offensive or racially inappropriate.
