Wilson Area Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers like you! By volunteering, you can help WAHFH serve families in need of decent housing. There are many different ways you can help:
- Resource Development: Help WAHFH raise money through marketing, communications, fundraising, and special events.
- ReStore: Help ReStore manager maximize donations and sales to maintain a consistent revenue stream for building houses.
- Construction: Help coordinate and oversee home construction by working with volunteers to build simple, decent homes at low cost.
- Community Relations: Work with churches and businesses to increase support for WAHFH in tangible and intangible ways.
- Family Selection and Support: Meet and evaluate families applying for ownership of a Habitat home. Work with families who are first-time homeowners to keep them on track with their mortgage and homeownership skills.
- Office: Help with clerical work to keep the office operations running smoothly.
